Kick off Christmas with beautiful carols
Entry is free but attendees are encouraged to bring a toy which will be delivered to three selected charity organisations
A STELLAR cast including ChianoSky, Lloyd Cele, Richard Stirton, Ross from Prime Circle, Kahn from the Parlotones, Charlize Berg and Swing City, will join voices with the Soweto Gospel Choir for the Jacaranda FM and Spar Carols by Candlelight, at the Bidvest Wanderers Stadium on December 3.
Entry is free but attendees are encouraged to bring a toy (not wrapped), which will be delivered to three selected charity organisations: Child Welfare Tshwane, Heartbeat and Hanna Charities.
According to Jacaranda FM’s General Manager, Kevin Fine, the annual Carols by Candlelight is a huge highlight on their calendar; attended by thousands of people each year.
“It’s a privilege to not only share this special time with our listeners, but also to spread the festive cheer to those who are less fortunate. We managed to collect 289 boxes of toys and over R60 000 in cash for children in need, in 2015. We hope to collect even more in 2016,” Fine said.
Gates open at 16:00 and the event takes place between 19:00 and 21:00.
