RESILIENCE rhythmic gymnasts enjoyed great results in competitions held over the last few months.

The level four gymnasts took part in the central Gauteng trials recently at Wits and received a seventh place overall, qualifying for the Gauteng provincials.

The Gauteng provincials were held in Kibler Park where Kewarona Sefatlhe (level four) received an 11th overall place and qualified for the SA Games, which are held in Cape Town over the October school holidays.

Recently, the central Gauteng trials for levels one to three took place in Berario where all gymnasts (except one) qualified for the inter-provincial competition which was also held in Berario.

Levels one to four gymnasts also recently took part in a friendly competition in Observatory where all the gymnasts placed in the top three.

“Well done to all the girls. I’m very proud of all your achievements,” said their coach, Ayanda Ntsele.
