New SAPS contact point now open

This contact point is not a police station, all criminal matters should be reported at Booysens or Moffatview Police Station.

BOOYSENS and Moffatview SAPS have opened a contact point in Bertha Street, to ensure faster police response.

This contact point is not a police station, all criminal matters should be reported at Booysens or Moffatview Police Station.

The purpose of the contact point is to improve reaction time should an emergency arise in the areas of Turffontein, Kenilworth, Forest Hill and Rosettenville. It will not be open 24 hours.

Two captains will be on duty on flexi hours which is determined by the crime pattern analyses.

In cases of an emergency, Capt Reginald Zulu (078 965 4518) or Capt Masenyani Mathebula (073 577 5824) can be contacted.

The contact point is not only occupied by SAPS, but also by other role players including neighbourhood watch, CPF and JMPD. There are no telephones at the contact point available.
