Booysens SAPS warns community

Take note: the SAPS does not ask for money for recovered goods.

THERE is a new scam going around where you are contacted and informed that your stolen car has been found.

You are then required to deposit money into an account to get your vehicle release. You deposit the money and then you cannot get hold of the person anymore.

Take note: the SAPS does not ask for money for recovered goods.

If you are contacted by someone informing you of this, contact your investigating office or Booysens SAPS on 011 433 5211 to speak to the station commander or Col Mashego on 011 433 5377.
