Horizon High wins drug debate

Horizon High would like to thank all the stakeholders who are involved in the organisation of the debate.

HORIZON High School competed in the district drug debate and has made their school incredibly proud recently.

The aim of the debate was to educate the youth on the dangers of substance abuse and how peer pressure is evident in society. Nhlanhla Ndumo, Bathandwa Lolwana, Monwabisi Mzozo, Lindokuhle Mabaso, Mpho Pilson and Gomolemo Moncho (Horizon’s debate team) won the Deep South Drug Debate and encouraged abstinence from substance use and abuse. The debate consisted of four rounds, nine schools and one champion – Horizon High School.

Horizon High would like to thank all the stakeholders who were involved in the organisation of the debate.
