Motorists targeted again in the South

Motorists targeted again in the South.

THE management of Booysens SAPS is warning motorists that they are once again being targeted by criminals when they are parked in driveways and chatting to one another.

Booysens SAPS is issuing this warning because of a recorded increase in robberies taking place in such situations. Motorists are encouraged be observant when sitting in their vehicles and if possible, go into the premises and chat over a cup of tea instead of sitting in vehicles.

These types of robberies typically take place at night.

The police station has also seen cases where local residents and/or visitors have had their vehicles stolen because they parked outside a yard even though the yard has locking gates.
