A MAN believed to be in his 50s died on the evening of July 24 after losing control of his vehicle and colliding with a bridge pillar on the R59 in Vereeniging.
ER24 paramedics and other services attended to the incident and found the man still in the vehicle which was on the side of the road.
He sustained multiple severe injuries. There was nothing that could be done for him. The exact cause of the incident is unknown.
