Don’t be the person who is sitting in front of the empty fireplace asking for heat, you are asking for the impossible. If you were to write down one thing that would make your life better than what it is now, what would it be? Just write it down anyhow. Further, write down any resource you need to make it happen, don’t discount any idea that comes, just write it down – time you need, the people you need to journey with (spiritually, mentally and emotionally), the books you will have to read for more information covering the subject you want, seminars/workshops and/or conferences you need to attend to gather more information. Identify one person that is the ultimate or embodiment of that thing that you want and then approach him or her to mentor you towards your dream.
Attending seminars, workshops and conferences introduce you to like-minded people with different skills and perspectives which is what you need to unlock those locked doors in front of you. The solution to the challenge you are faced with is not as far away as you think, just get out of yourself and expose yourself to those different people with different perspectives. That’s all you need right now to change your life around.
In order to live your dreams you have to give up complaining, blaming, justifying, defending and excuse making and take 100 per cent responsibility for your life. You deserve a much better life than the one you have settled for. You are born to win.
