Garden makeover

“Please bring your gardening gloves and tools and confirm how many of you will be attending the garden makeover."

MONDEOR Police Station’s gardens are in need of some tender loving care, and businesses and community members are being encouraged to come along and work for a few hours in the gardens on Mandela Day, Monday July 18.

“Please bring your gardening gloves and tools and confirm how many of you will be attending the garden makeover. There are huge overgrown trees which must be cut back and the driveway around the building, pavements and flower beds need to be weeded. Also garden rubble needs removing and the garden beds filling with compost,” said Michelle Pelser, chairperson of Community Police Forum Mondeor SAPS.

Wish list – compost, potting soil, weed remover, evergreen plants and trees, pebbles, indoor and outdoor floor pots for plants.

If you can come along, please phone Michelle on 084 292 9144 or email: cpfmondeorsapsarea@gmail.com
