Four injured in early morning crash

The exact cause of the collision is not yet known.

One person was left in a serious condition and three others sustained various injuries in a head on collision on Linmeyer Road, south of Johannesburg.

Shortly after 9am this morning paramedics from ER24 arrived on the scene where they found the mangled vehicles. One of the vehicles’ engine compartment was on fire. Members of the community used fire extinguishers to extinguish the flames.

One of the occupants, believed to be the driver, was found with serious chest injuries and fractures. Three others were found on the scene with injuries ranging from minor to moderate.

The exact cause of the collision is not yet known. Johannesburg Metro Police attended the scene.
