City Power to assist family

Patterson family has been without power since June because of outside meter box failure.

THE Patterson family is saddened to have been without power since June due to a fault in the outside meter on the pole connecting their Faunce Road home in Robertsham.

The Pattersons called an electrician after experiencing a power trip every time they connected their appliances and according to the electrician, the problem is not in their house but at the meter box outside their home.

Martin Patterson said he was tired of phoning City Power and being put on hold every time, holding on for 10 minutes or more, without any success. Martin said his family cannot cook and they are tired of this.

The Southern COURIER is communicating with City Power’s acting spokesperson, Yumna Sheik, who is aiming to send people to assist the Pattersons as soon as possible.
