A man believed to have been hijacked was found in a veld with multiple gunshot wounds.
It is believed that the man was hijacked earlier yesterday evening and the suspects allegedly dumped him in the veld and shot him.
ER24 Joburg South paramedics arrived at the scene, Golden Highway in Vlakfontein, and found the man lying in the veld.
The man, believed to be in his 30s, was treated and transported to hospital for further medical care.
The exact details surrounding the incident are unknown. Authorities were on scene for further investigations.
