Step into your greatness

Sometimes life will send you things that will knock you down.

“They tried to bury us. They didn’t know we were seeds.” – Mexican Proverb

Sometimes life will send you things that will knock you down. It will send you people, events and circumstances that will try to bury or shadow you. If you are someone who thinks like a victim, those things will definitely bury you, they will keep you in the past and destroy you. If you are someone that think like a champion, these events will bring out the best in you. Champions operate more like seeds. A seed does not grow above the soil, one has to bury or put it underneath the soil for it to germinate and shoot out of the ground to produce more seeds and give more life. So when people are making it hard for you, just silently thank them for allowing you to bring out the best in you that the world would have missed out on.

Most successful people have grown through their challenges. Don’t be deceived by thinking that they were just lucky or had it easy. I have spoken to a handful of them, read about many more and their stories are very similar; they almost all went through traumatic events in their lives but grew through them instead of becoming dysfunctional.

When you avoid or run away from challenges in your life you are closing doors for your best gifts and talents to come out and will forever be trapped in mediocrity. God endowed you with so much intelligence and abilities to make your contribution in the world. These gifts are hidden inside the challenges you have always been avoiding. Confront them head on and your stuff will come out, This world is a better place because you were born, just open that closed door and let your stuff out!
