MOFFATVIEW SAPS busted a man who walked behind two women before he snatched one of the woman’s cellphone and ran away in Turffontein, on Tuesday, June 28.
Fortunately Serg Lerato Mpai and Cst Humbulani Tshitangana were patrolling the area when they noticed the suspect running down Phillip Street. The officers chased the suspect until he was blocked by concerned residents. The suspect was then arrested and charged with common robbery and the BlackBerry cellphone was given back to the owner.
