Pressies take the lead on hockey field
Hoërskool President High had a good running with most of their teams taking a win on the hockey fields
WITH most hockey teams from Hoërskool President High School taking a win in their league games last week, things are looking up for the school.
Hockey players took on Sir John Adams on May 24 and Glenvista High on May 26 and the netball teams battled things out against Glenvista High on May 26.
Results for the games are as follows:
Hockey against Sir John Adams on May 24:
The u.14 team wins 4-0, u-15 wins 6-0 and the u.16 and first teams tied with 0-0 each.
Hockey against Glenvista High on May 26:
The u.14s lose 0-1, u.15 wins 1-0 and u.16 wins 2-0 with the second team losing 0-2 and the first taking a win with 2-0.
Netball results against Glenvista High on May 26:
All teams except the first team take a win with results as follows: u.14A 11-8, u.14B 4-3, u.15 21-6, u.15B 13-6, u.16A 19-18 and u.16B 17-5 and seconds 9-5 with the first team losing 23-24.
Final league games must still be played and an update on the teams results will follow in a next edition.
