Gauteng Premier visits the South

Gauteng Premier, David Makhura, visited the House of Treasures Ministries and thereafter proceeded to an ANC meeting at the Wembley Indoor Stadium.

GAUTENG Premier David Makhura spent Sunday, May 29, with the community of the South attending a church service at the House of Treasures Ministries. Apostle Felix Okoh, who heads the ministry, welcomed the premier and his delegation warmly.

In his brief address to the congregation the premier said he appreciated the warm welcome, as well as the prayers offered to him and the Gauteng government that he leads.

Columbus Ncuthe, a branch executive member of the ANC in ward 125, thanked the premier for visiting the area and joining the community in prayer. “It is heartwarming and encouraging to see our leadership visiting, in particular joining us as we worship and pray at the church on this day. It was also fitting for him to remind us all of how the ANC was formed by men of God, at a church in Mangaung, Bloemfontein,” Ncuthe said.

The premier later on joined a gathering of the African National Congress (ANC) Zone 11 at the Wembley Indoor Stadium, where he also addressed members on the progress the government has achieved thus far.
