Cancer survior speaks through book

Abigail is not afraid to take risks in pursuit of greatness.

ASPEN Hills’ cancer survivor, Abigail Runganaikulu (50) is set to launch her book ‘My stupid brain was cut off with my right breast’, on May 20.

The book is based on her life and the journey filled with lessons, pain, challenges and victories which have sharpened a resilient woman who is more committed than ever to living a full life.

Abigail said you can think bigger. You can think out of the box and you can have it all.

Her book allows you to discover how you have authority to make the right choices that will enable you to take control of your own life and affect your entire future.

“A life-altering mastectomy has led to a rude awakening which has taught me to slow down, ignore the stupid brain and listen to the still, small voice. I felt like a knife was lodged into my heart when the doctor let out these words. I thought, God, have you left me, or what lesson is this that you want me to learn?” she said.

Author and dream coach Darren August said in a time where good news is scarce and good role models are hard to come by, it is so refreshing to pick up a delightful and intuitive book in which someone shares so openly her journey to success. “This book exudes a sense of determination, accompanied by real proof of trial and error resulting in experiences which ultimately lead to tons of lessons we all need to learn in one way or another,” noted August.

Abigail’s story is sure to inspire many men and women who are affected by cancer. Allow her to spread her message of hope to many that so desperately need it.

Apart from her book, Abigail is an astute Johannesburg South businesswoman, entrepreneur and philanthropist with an amazing eye to spot unusual opportunities. She is not afraid to take risks in pursuit of greatness. She is a devoted wife, loving mom to her two boys Ryan and Caleb, heart-warming mom-in-law to Sam, and proud grandmother of Zion.
