BOOYSENS SAPS arrested 76 suspects for various crimes between Friday, April 1, and Sunday, April 17.
Suspects were arrested for the following: armed robbery – two, common assault – eight, assault with grievous bodily harm – five, common robbery – one, contravention of liquor act – one, contravention of second-hand dealers act – one, dealing in drugs – one, drunken driving – one, extortion – two, fraud – one, housebreaking and theft – two, housebreaking and theft business premises – one, malicious damage to property – two, possession of dagga – eight, possession of drugs – two, possession of stolen motor vehicle – one, rape – one, shoplifting – three, theft – 27, theft out of motor vehicle – three, trespassing – two.
