BOOYSENS SAPS warns residents of the South about a group of suspects going to houses in the South and pretending to be employees of Telkom.
These suspects inform the person who answers the door that the owner reported a fault and they are there to fix it.
Booysens SAPS spokesperson, Lorraine van Emmerik said, “This office is hereby appealing to the community to please inform their domestic workers and/or the people staying in their homes that they must confirm with the owner of the house before opening the door and allowing these people in. Once they gain access into the houses, they steal a large amount of goods.”
