Sanitary packs donated

DESIREE Oliphant, an Alberton resident, a Mrs South Africa semi-finalist for 2014 and Mrs UN South Africa, supported the Sanitary Drive campaign recently.

A donation of an ample supply of sanitary wear was donated by a teenage belly dancer. The donation went to six high schools. Representatives from the Germiston SAPS took part in the event.

“Thank you to everyone involved. The Brow Bar at Mall of the South as well for going as far as Lenasia to distribute sanitary hampers to those girls less fortunate,” Desiree said.

“This is a truly a legacy that I would like to see live on until 2020 and beyond” Desiree added.
