ECD centres are invited

Registration is currently in progress and only 50 participants will be accepted, two persons per crèche. Classes will commence on Friday, February 19.

BELIEVERS Care Society (BCS) is inviting owners of Early Childhood Development (ECD) centres and their staff members to apply for a skills development opportunity.

This will assist participants to run their crèches professionally and also receive mentorship which will ensure that children under their care are properly taken care of, especially orphans and vulnerable children. This project is in partnership with the United States President’s Emergency Plan for Aids Relief (PEPFAR).

This accredited skills training course is for a duration of four months with attendance required only twice a week – Fridays from 13:00 to 16:00 and Saturdays from 08:00 to 12:00. The duration of the entire project will be for six months which also includes the mentorship programme. Upon the completion of the course participants that completed and passed the course will be issued a certificate of competence as well as a Aids Relief Programme mentorship programme certificate.

Registration is currently in progress and only 50 participants will be accepted, two persons per crèche. Classes will commence on Friday, February 19. Classes will take place at the Development Centre in Turffontein. This course is completely free of charge.

The criteria for acceptance: One must be a crèche owner or a staff member in a registered crèche located in the South of JHB. Proof of crèche registration or a letter of employment on the company letterhead for staff members is needed. A copy of your ID, proof of residence, previous qualifications and a short CV should also be included.
