A RACEVIEW parent has begun an initiative with her child’s school to assist drought stricken areas in South Africa.
Lia Breytenbach, owner of Raceview Kids, confirmed with the RECORD that she and Cindy van der Watt have begun a challenge at their school to collect water for people in drought stricken areas of South Africa.
The school has asked that community members reuse their two litre bottles by filling them with fresh water and deliver them to the school at 19 Winnipeg Street in Raceview.
