Man critically injured after truck knocks him down

“The man believed to be 21 years of age was treated and transported to hospital for further medical care."

A MAN was critically injured on Tuesday evening January 19 when he was knocked down by a truck on the R82 Gordon Road in Kibler Park.

ER24 paramedics and other services attended to the scene.

Chitra Bodasing, ER24 spokesperson said upon assessment of the patient, paramedics found that he sustained severe injuries.

“The man believed to be 21 years of age was treated and transported to hospital for further medical care. The truck driver was uninjured. The exact cause of the incident is unknown,” said Chitra.
