Cigarettes worth R1mil seized near Kibler Park

A TIP-OFF about a cigarette truck heist led the Soweto Flying Squad and Johannesburg Metropolitan Police Department (JMPD) to Alveda Park where three suspects between the ages of 36 and 39 were arrested.
The cigarette truck was robbed in Lenasia at the N1 Engen in Grasmere. The officers found stolen cigarettes worth an estimated R1 million in the suspects’ possession.
