E-vigilante takes security to a new level

French manufactured robot does wonders that can save warehouses and industrial business sites money.

JOHANNESBURG SOUTH: Interoptic Networks brings South Africa its first-of-a-kind robot, e-vigilante, to join the battle against crime and save warehouses and industrial sites money.

Potential buyers from various companies visited the East Gate Mall roof parking lot to view the fascinating and amazing innovation on Wednesday, November 25.

The e-vigilante was designed by French manufacturers to reduce the costs and risks associated with security activities, provide indoor surveillance of warehouses and industrial sites, and optimise on-site security. This innovation detects intrusion and dispels doubt by doing night patrol rounds and taking fast and effective decisions, while it can also be controlled by remote from a CCTV screen. Manufactures made it clear the innovation comes to South Africa as it is reliable based on tried and proven state-of-the-art security technologies. It’s versatility is impressive as it can customise its functions and evolve to add-in new functions.

Guests and potential buyers were given time to view the robot with its real-time feedback and dedicated user interface, which has an alert processing system and an integrated incident recording system. Buyers will enjoy its incident detection, dispelling of doubt, dissuasive doubt and remote control.

Interoptic Networks CEO, Basia Nasiorowska, said: “The robot can patrol continuously without charging for nine hours and up to several days through self recharging. It can be used in companies and banks when they are closed at night because as people break-in or jump over walls, security personnel will be able to see it without putting themselves in the line of danger. I like the robot because it works with CCTV and it is not maintenance nagging as it is autonomous and also has night vision.”
