Johannesburg Water fixes leak

Johannesburg Water would like to urge residents to remain active partners in reducing the amount of water used in the City of Johannesburg.

THE water leak on Side Road, Southdale, about 500 meters from the Johannesburg Water offices has been fixed (Clean water goes to waste, page three, December 1).

Johannesburg Water Spokesperson, Eleanor Mavimbela, informed the COURIER on Friday, November 27, that the leak was attended to and fixed. “It was found that the problem was a leaking meter. Johannesburg Water would like to urge residents to remain active partners in reducing the amount of water used in the City of Johannesburg by reporting leaks when they see them so that we can attend to them speedily,” she said.
