Expect fireworks for the whole week

Residents around FNB Stadium can expect fireworks throughout the week from 20:30 to 21:00.

Ward 54 Clr Sergio dos Santos confirmed that he spoke to FNB Stadium Centre Management.

“They inform me that Mercedez Benz is having an event this whole week. It started yesterday (Sunday November 8) and runs through to Friday (November 13). They have informed me that there will be a fireworks display every evening for a maximum of 10 minutes. They have applied and have all the necessary permits. I urge all residents to please keep your pets indoors as far as possible during this time,” he said.
