FIVE people were injured following a collision on the N1 Highway near the Viking Bridge in Naturena on Tuesday October 20.
When paramedics from the ER24 South branch arrived on scene, they found both light motor vehicles in the fast lane of the road.
Russel Meiring, ER24 spokesperson said, “Two occupants were found seated inside their vehicle while three others were found walking around the second vehicle. Paramedics assessed the patients and found that they had sustained only minor injuries in the collision. They treated the patients and thereafter transported them to nearby hospitals for urgent treatment.”
The cause of the collision is not yet known but local authorities were on scene for further investigations.
