Janine wins two Commonwealth titles

Janine also walked away with the Mrs Charity title after raising the most funds for charity.

KIBLER Park resident, Janine Kamaar, was crowned as Mrs Commonwealth SA 2015/2016 at the crowning gala of Miss Teen, Mrs and Mr Commonwealth South Africa held at Gold Reef City’s Lyric Theatre on September 12.

Janine also walked away with the Mrs Charity title after raising the most funds for charity.

The Commonwealth Pageant SA aims to empower women and men with a platform to bring sustainable change and to become ambassadors within the country and the broader international community.

The local beauty is currently the transformation manager at McKinsey and Company and holds a BCom honours degree from the University of Cape Town. Janine has many achievements under her belt including being selected as an exchange student to go to Italy in 1999, global managerial courses in Thailand and London and has also received numerous transformation awards within McKinsey and Company, including the top empowered socio-economic development award for the education and health initiatives she was involved with.

Janine has been married for the past eight years and has two sons. She is passionate about job creation and the skills development of South African youth and has been involved in several community projects and charity initiatives.

“I’m really excited about the one week all-expenses paid trip to London in June 2016. It’s going to be wonderful,” Janine said.
