Donation makes a big difference

Every year, for the past 20 years, Mpact has been helping these organisations.

MPACT Recycling in Tulisa Park donated R62 265 to the Johannesburg and Alberton SPCA and Witwatersrand Hospice on Tuesday, September 15.

Every year, for the past 20 years, Mpact has been helping these organisations. Donna Noble, Mpact Recycling communication manager, said they are very pleased to help these organisations. “Since this is a clean-up and recycling week, we are glad to make this donation and I believe a lot more awareness in terms of recycling will be done. We are looking forward to growing this relationship,” she said.

Kingston Sibiza from Alberton SPCA said they are grateful for what Mpact has done for them and it will go a long way. “We serve Alberton and Katorus. This donation will help a lot in our mobile clinic where we can reach a number of people. We educate them on primary healthcare for the animals,” he said.

Vusi Nkosi, from the Johannesburg SPCA, said: “I also share the same sentiment with Kingston. Our outreach programme will benefit where we go to people in Johannesburg and the surrounding townships. We sterilise and de-worm the animals for free.”

Joy Ruwodo from Witwatersrand Hospice thanked the company for the donation and said the funds will help them render their services.
