Thirty-eight suspects busted by Booysens SAPS

IT’S ONLY a few days into the month of September and the Booysens police have already arrested 42 suspects for various crimes.

The arrests took place between Tuesday, September 1, and Sunday, September 6. Suspects were arrested for the following: assault common – four, assault with grievous bodily harm – five, attempted robbery – one, driving without licence – one, drunken driving – 16, housebreaking and theft – one, malicious damage to property – one, possession of dagga – one, possession of drugs – one, possession of stolen motor vehicle – two, robbery with other weapons – four, shoplifting – two, theft – three, theft of motor vehicle – one.
