JOHANNESBURG – An official of the ANCYL has been arrested for allegedly sjambokking his girlfriend to death following an argument, IOL reported.
According to Gabi Falanga and Baldwin Ndaba of the Star Newspaper, the official (Patrick Wisani) who is also the ANCYL chairman for Joburg Inner City, sjambokked his girlfriend on Saturday September 5.
Patrick arrived to his Yeoville home on Saturday night and found his girlfriend not at home. He went out on a manhunt until he found her but the two allegedly had an argument on their way home, which let to the brutal attack.
Sources familiar with the incident told the Star that Wisani allegedly pulled out a sjambok and repeatedly assaulted the woman and that the woman suffered multiple open wounds across her entire body, leaving those who attended the scene shocked.
