New premises needed for Epic Foundation

The Epic Foundation needs support in terms of funding to pay the rent .

JOHANNESBURG SOUTH – Epic Foundation is growing at an alarming rate and is now in need of larger premises to continue their work.

“Our Fairy Godmother Project has doubled in size over the last week, with the stunning donation of 1 500 Eurosuits from Bride & Co for young men which will enable us to help them with their outfits too,” says Alta McMaster, CEO of the Epic Foundation.

The Epic Foundation currently operates from a 162 square metre premises but the space has become too small to accommodate all the projects. “Unfortunately the industrial park where we operate from does not have larger spaces available as we are looking for approximately 300 square metres.”

“We are the largest provider of Comfort Packs in Gauteng. The Epic Foundation also supplies these packs to Netcare hospitals throughout South Africa and victim empowerment centres in other regions thus we need a space where we can keep the sleeping bags and toiletry items for the Comfort Pack Project as well as a working area for volunteers to pack bags.

“We need an area to hang out dresses and suits for the Fairy Godmother Project as well as space for shoes, jewellery, handbags, ties and more. There needs to be a fitting area, an area for tables and computers for our training centre or Step-Up Project, a private counselling room and general office space for desks, filing cabinets etc.

“The Epic Foundation needs support in terms of funding to pay the rent and premises available for us to use. From a logistics point of view we would prefer to remain in Johannesburg South or Alberton areas.”
