MOFFATVIEW – SAPS arrested 52 suspects for various crimes between Sunday, August 2, and Monday, August 10. The suspects were arrested for the following:
Assault common crimes – three, assault common under domestic violence – one, assault with grievous bodily harm – two, business breaking and theft – one, child abuse – one, drunken driving – three, drinking in public – one, dealing in liquor without a license – one, fraud – one, housebreaking and theft – two, malicious damage to property – one, possession of dagga – 11, possession of dangerous weapon – one, possession of suspected stolen motor vehicle – two, possession of unlicensed firearm – two, possession of suspected stolen property – seven, rape – one; reckless and negligent driving – one, shoplifting – four, theft – five, trespassing – one.
