YOU are invited to visit the Animal Anti-Cruelty League (AACL) at 59 Alice Street, Regents Park, in the South of Johannesburg, from Tuesday, September 1, until Saturday, September 5.

The AACL is open from 08:30 to 17:00, Monday to Thursday, 08:30 to 16:00 on Fridays and 08:30 to 12:00 on Saturdays.

The charity shop will be open with loads of bargains. If you are redecorating your home or have just moved, come and look at their selection of items for the bedroom, bathroom and living areas. If you have started a new job or are on a budget, and are looking for some clothes or accessories, come and take a look in their seconds’ boutique (but also often firsts).

Their kennel office has been extended and the space allows free movement between the food displays and pet products. They stock Pedigree, Whiskas and Montego as well as a new range of toys for cats and dogs.

During the week there will be wonderful spring specials for people to look out for.

There will also be a photo booth where visitors can dress up. These photos can be emailed to you for a small donation or they can be printed (a minimal donation of R40 for an A4 sheet).

AACL are proud to announce the launch of the Freedom Cat Café which will offer a selection of cakes and muffins (sweet and savoury), for sale, and these can be enjoyed with a complimentary cup of tea or coffee. You are welcome to sip your drink while sitting with the cats in the Freedom Cat Village. Even if it rains, there is seating in the indoor cattery.

They look forward to seeing you and your family soon.
