JOHANNESBURG SOUTHÂ – OFFICERS Sgt Jonas Mpai and Sgt Alfred Nkgatho, from the Moffatview SAPS, arrested five suspects during a suspect tracing operation in The Hill, on Friday, August 7.
The officers noticed four men standing next to a silver VW Polo Playa, parked on Main Street. The men were acting suspiciously so the officers approached them.The men immediately took off and ran into a nearby yard.
The members followed them into an outside room where they discovered a fifth suspect. There was also electrical appliances on the floor, including a subwoofer, amplifier, DVD player, music system, motor gate battery and a 32 inch plasma TV.
The men, who were unable to tell the officers where the items came from, were arrested for possession of suspected stolen goods.
