JOHANNESBURG SOUTH – Between Monday, July 6 and Sunday, July 12, Booysens police arrested a total of 56 suspects for various crimes. Suspects were arrested for the following: common assault – three, assault with grievous bodily harm – two, dealing in dagga – one, dealing in drugs – one, drunken driving – 26, housebreaking and theft – three, malicious damage to property – one, possession of dagga – three, possession of dangerous weapon – one, possession of suspected stolen goods – five, recklessness and negligence – one, shoplifting – four, theft – two, theft out of motor vehicle – one, violation of the protection order – two.
