Lead SA to host a change makers conference

It will also be a platform for like-minded people, who are already doing great things in their respective spaces, to network.

JOHANNESBURG SOUTH – Over 1000 people are set to attend the LEAD #ChangeMakers Conference on Saturday, August 15, at the University of Johannesburg’s (UJ) Sanlam Auditorium.

The business community, CSI directors, youth groups, NGOs and active citizens are invited to attend the conference which aims to showcase and inspire positive change and active citizenry in Johannesburg South and the rest of the country.

Lead SA Heroes, Future Leaders and a number of high level speakers will share their knowledge and personal journeys at the conference.

The event will conclude with the National Lead SA Hero of the Year and Youth Hero of the Year being awarded. These remarkable and inspiring winners will receive R250 000 for charity, thanks to the Dis-Chem Foundation.

“The Lead SA’s #ChangeMakers Conference will allow ‘Conversations for Change.’ It will also be a platform for like-minded people, who are already doing great things in their respective spaces, to network with the understanding that they all have a common goal,” said Lead SA activist, Yusuf Abramjee.

The #ChangeMakers Conference is supported by the University of Johannesburg and Community Hours and it also coincides with Lead SA’s fifth anniversary.
