Booysens police clamp down on crime

BETWEEN June 22 to 28, Booysens SAPS made a total of 31 arrests.

Suspects were arrested for the following: common assault – six, assault grievous bodily harm – one, attempted murder – one, business robbery – one, common robbery – one, defeating the ends of justice – one, drinking in public – one, drunken driving – two, fraud – five, malicious damage to property – one, possession of counterfeit goods – one, possession of dagga – one, possession of drugs – one, possession of unlicensed firearm – one, shoplifting – one, theft – four, theft of motor vehicle – one.
