MEC tackles special needs

Special needs education receives much needed attention from the MEC.

The Gauteng MEC for Education, Panyaza Lesufi, is set to address educators from various special education needs schools, at Turffontein Racecourse, on July 1.

The address is aimed at building the skills and knowledge of the educators, introducing courses such as managing challenging behaviour in the classroom, and teaching English in non-English speaking schools.

Educators are currently participating in training for the 2015 Inclusion Focus Week which began on June 29 and ends on July 3.

At Caxton, we employ humans to generate daily fresh news, not AI intervention. Happy reading!
