JOHANNESBURG SOUTH – Between Monday, June 1 and Sunday, June 7, Booysens police arrested a total of 46 suspects for various crimes.
The following arrests were made: armed robbery – one, common assault – five, assault with grievous bodily harm – four, attempted theft – three, drunken driving – 12, hijacking – one, malicious damage to property – one, possession of dagga – eight, possession of illegal cigarettes – one, possession of stolen cable – one, resisting arrest – one, shoplifting -six, theft – two.
