MONDEOR – She was arrested by Mondeor SAPS on Saturday afternoon for abandonment of her little boy, believed to be between two and three years old.
“It’s been a very long and exhausting day,” said Michelle Pelser from Mondeor Community Police Forum, who has been working with Mondeor SAPS since last night.
A specialised unit has been working round the clock to find the mother of the child.
“It’s been a team effort, everyone has pulled together and assisted with this case. Thanks to Mondeor SAPS, Mondeor Community Police Forum and the community,” Michelle added.
The little boy is being cared for in a place of safety.
