JOHANNESBURG SOUTH – Between Tuesday, May 19, and Monday, June 1, Moffatview SAPS arrested 67 suspects for various crimes. Suspects were arrested for the following: armed robbery – one, assault common crimes – six, assault with grievous bodily harm- eight; common robbery – two, concealment of birth – one, contempt of court – one, dealing in liquor without a license – one, driving under the influence – one, drunken driving – two, fraud – one, handling of firearm under the influence – one, housebreaking and theft – one, illegal immigration – two, interfering with police duties – one, intimidation – two, malicious damage to property – two, murder – one, possession of dagga -eight, possession of suspected stolen property – three, possession of stolen motor vehicle – one; shoplifting – 14, theft – six; warrent of arrest – one.
