JOHANNESBURG SOUTH – Between Monday, May 4, and Monday, May 18, Moffatview police arrested a total of 80 suspects for various crimes.
Suspects were arrested for the following: common assault – nine, assault with grievous bodily harm – five, assault under domestic violence – two, child abuse – two, fraud – one, dealing in counterfeit cigarettes – four, driving under the influence of liquor – one, driving without a license – one, fraud – one, house robbery – one, housebreaking and theft – two, illegal immigrant – one, kidnapping – two, malicious damage to property – three, possession of drugs – 12, possession of stolen motor vehicle – one, possession of suspected stolen cables – four, possession of stolen property – one, pointing of firearm – one, use of motor vehicle without owner’s consent – one, rape – one, shoplifting – 10, theft – 13, warrant of arrest – one.
