Hamburgers and fun for Bellavista Crèche
The Spur Foundation celebrated International Hamburger Day and paid the crèche a visit.
THERE were big smiles all around at Bellavista Crèche on Thursday, May 28, when the little ones were treated to hamburgers.
The Spur Foundation celebrated International Hamburger Day and paid the crèche a visit, where 40 children were treated to a visit by Paco The Bear, Sparkie the Clown, a jumping castle, face-painting, Spur hamburgers, and, of course, the ever essential Spur Foundation goody bag.
The Spur Foundation was established on International Mandela Day, July 18, 2012, with a donation of R670 000 by the Spur Corporation, resonating with the ‘67 minutes’ theme of Mandela Day, and the founding of the Spur family in 1967. The foundation aims to uplift and improve the lives of South African families, especially children, in line with its core value of generosity and Ubuntu.
