JOHANNESBURG SOUTH – A man was recently arrested for stealing a speedpoint from a petrol garage in Rosettenville.
According to the Moffatview SAPS communications officer, Constable Bila, officers proceeded to the garage to view security camera footage.
The investigating officer, Constable Senoamadi, viewed and footage and was able to trace the registration number of a red VW Polo, which was used by the suspect.
Constable Bila managed to arrest the suspect at Vincent Street, Rosettenville.
The stolen speedpoint machine was recovered and the suspect was detained at the Moffatview Police Station.
