Family left devastated after house burned down

Dr du Preez, Die Fakkel principal, is pleading with the community to help.

A GRADE 8 learner from Die Fakkel High School, Balezwa Eliel, is in need of any help that the community can give, after his house was totally destroyed due to fire on April 23.

Dr du Preez, Die Fakkel principal, is pleading with the community to help. “The family has nothing left, absolutely nothing. No food, no clothes, no bedding, no school books, no furniture, cutlery or kitchenware. The house is in Prairie Street NR 52, Rosettenville,” he said.

Balezwa is 14 years old. Other members of the family who now need clothes, are a 17-year-old sister of Balezwa, a four-year-old sister and a brother of eight months.

Companies and individuals are requested to help by donating whatever possible. It can be delivered at Die Fakkel High in Carter Avenue, Forest Hill.
