One train crashed into another just after 07:00 this morning.

Two trains collided at Denver station on Tuesday morning April 28, scores of commuters were injured.

According to EWN Metrorail has confirmed that emergency services are treating commuters at the Denver Station, where two trains have collided.

A woman who was on board a stationary train which was hit from behind, called into the John Robbie Show on Talk Radio 702 a short while ago.

“I’m hurt! My chest and my neck! The train crash is so bad…the train knocked the other train from the back.”

Metrorail spokesperson Lillian Mofokeng said, “There are two trains and one hit the other from the back. We do not know what happened at the moment, but we do have people who are injured and we’re prioritising the injured on scene.”
