KIBLER Park’s Mampa Sekoba-Diakanyo (33) has been selected as one of the Top 100 semi-finalist for the Mrs South Africa Pageant.

The pageant is more of a ‘Woman Empowerment Movement’, focused on empowering and uplifting married, sophisticated, beautiful, real women who are ambitious and successful in their own right, business minded, feminine and yet also proud wives and mothers. It also supports the CANSA Foundation.

“My goal for entering the Mrs South Africa Pageant is to gain recognition as a young black married woman with an aspiration for change, to use the given platform to inject a mindset of change within SA’s rural areas by empowering and educating women and children who have the opportunity and power of shaping our future,” she explained.

She also wants to use the Mrs SA Platform to engage authorities with regards to land in her area for a park with playground for all ages and create pathways for pedestrians and cyclists.

In order for Mrs Sekoba-Diakanyo to continue with the pageant, she needs to be sponsored by any willing reputable company by R5 000 plus VAT. The company will get exposure in all the pageant’s activity.

Mrs Sekoba-Diakanyo has a National Diploma in Eco-Tourism Management from Tshwane University of Technology (TUT), and a certificate in Events Management from INTEC College.

She has been working within the Gauteng Provincial Government for over 10 years and is currently working as an Office Manager at the Department of Cooperative Governance and Traditional Affairs, working within the Community Development, Public Participation and Stakeholder Liaison Chief Directorate.
