J9foundation celebrates Family Day

“It’s been an honour to host this event and an even greater honour to meet Joost,” said Marlene and Johan van Schalkwyk from The Whitehouse.

ON Saturday March 28 the J9foundation’s Family Day was hosted by The Whitehouse in Mulbarton.

The J9foundation was started by rugby legend Joost van der Westhuizen to help others also suffering from Motor Neuron Disease.

Joost’s brother Pieter was on hand to assist Joost in communicating with everyone at the fun day. Claire Kaye-Grobler, marketing and events for J9foundation, welcomed sponsors who had paid towards the costs to enable families to come and enjoy the day with Joost.

“It’s been an honour to host this event and an even greater honour to meet Joost,” said Marlene and Johan van Schalkwyk from The Whitehouse.
